Record number of participants at the ‘With a Book on the Beach’ festival

Burgas welcomed the largest and most diverse edition of the ‘With a Book on the Beach’ festival to date. A record number of more than 40 Bulgarian publishers presented their publications to the city’s reading public. Meetings with authors, premieres of the latest books, poetry and prose readings, musical and poetic performances, presentations of children’s literature, and numerousother surprises delighted Burgas’ residents and visitors alike.

The ‘With a Book on the Beach’ festival supports Burgas’ bid to become European Capital of Culture in 2032 and City of Literature in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
